The new puppy. Roxy. It turns out I am a dog person and I like big dogs.
She does not know she is a Rottweiler. I think of Rottweilers' as being big, confident, and not overly friendly. She is the opposite. She is clumsy, awkward, very friendly, and adorable with the kids. She has only made one sound when the mean cat scratched her, she cried and ran away.
We really like her and hope she gets to come back home with us.
You are a saint Whit!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful. Mike was jealous as he has always wanted a rottie. Hope she is much better than little Tally was. I agree with Jill, you are a saint and for many other reasons as well :)
ReplyDeleteShe is gorgeous! We had a rotty many years ago - she was the runt of a litter and much smaller than a normal rotty... we loved her! Her only fault was that she couldn't resist chasing smaller things like little dogs and cats. But when it came to children, or anyone who would love on her, she was a marshmallow. She would try to crawl onto your lap if you gave her any loving (a runt but still much too big to be a lap dog!). Their breed was never meant to be mean guard dogs - they were originally herd dogs - very loyal. I hope she works out better for you!
